What we collect

When you use Clypixa, we may log the following briefly for abuse prevention and service reliability:

  • Your IP address and the time of each request.
  • The public YouTube URL you submitted.
  • The format you selected and the success or error status of the attempt.

Selected clip ranges

If you choose a start and end time, those times are processed so the server can prepare the requested clip. The current download history log stores the URL, format, filename, IP, and status; it does not store a separate clip-range field.

What we do not collect

We do not require accounts. We do not sell personal data. We do not track you across other websites beyond what is needed to serve this site.

File retention

Prepared downloads are stored temporarily on our server and are automatically deleted after a short retention window. This applies to both full downloads and selected clips.

Cookies and analytics

Clypixa may use essential cookies or similar storage for security, abuse prevention, and site operation. If analytics or advertising cookies are used, a cookie consent banner will be presented where required by law.

Advertising and Google services

Clypixa may display Google AdSense ads on editorial pages. Google and its partners may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, device information, and similar identifiers to serve ads, measure ad performance, limit repeated ads, and help detect abuse. Third parties may place and read cookies in your browser or use web beacons as a result of ad serving on this website.

Where ads do not appear

Clypixa does not place Google-served ads on private utility screens, download action screens, API responses, error pages, or pages that exist only for legal notices or contact. Ads, when enabled, are limited to substantial editorial guide pages and are separated from navigation and action controls.

Data minimization

We avoid accounts and public user profiles. Operational logs are kept for abuse prevention, security, reliability, and debugging. If a private utility mode is enabled by the operator, temporary files are removed automatically after the configured retention window and should not be treated as permanent storage.

Corrections and privacy requests

If you believe this policy is inaccurate or have a privacy question, include the page URL, your concern, and enough context for review. Do not send private passwords, cookies, or restricted video links.
