Purpose
The public site is designed to help readers make better decisions before they save, clip, reuse, or archive video. We focus on plain-language explanations, checklists, and examples for creators, educators, small teams, students, and cautious viewers. The site is not legal advice and does not replace a lawyer, a rights holder's permission, or the rules of the platform hosting the video.
Sources and references
When a guide discusses a platform rule or official feature, we prefer primary sources such as YouTube Help, YouTube Terms of Service, Google Takeout, Google publisher policies, and official Creative Commons license materials. We avoid presenting third-party shortcuts as official options.
Clypixa is not affiliated with YouTube, Google, or Creative Commons. Product names and trademarks are used only to identify the services readers may need to review.
Corrections
Platform features and policies change. If a page is outdated, unclear, or missing important context, readers can contact us with the page URL, the issue, and any source that supports the correction. We review correction requests and update pages when a change improves accuracy or user safety.
Advertising separation
Ads, when enabled, are not allowed to appear on private utility screens, download action screens, API responses, error pages, or pages that exist only for navigation or legal notices. Ads may appear on substantial editorial pages after approval, and they must be visually labeled and separated from navigation and action controls.
